Hello and welcome to the AzNA Nurse Educator Special Interest Group (Chapter 6) site!

The purpose of the Nurse Educator Special Interest Group (SIG) is to mentor and support the professional growth and development of nurse educators across practice and academic settings. Our strengths lie in the individual work we do as a SIG within AzNA, as well as our collaboration with other professional organizations to meet our mission, vision and values. We serve nurses in Arizona with a passion for education and preparing our workforce with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for successful transition to the professional role

This site was created to provide our members with a place to easily identify key projects and initiatives. We strongly encourage nurse educators to become a participatory member, no matter how much or how little you can commit your voice is valuable! You will find minutes from the Board meetings, a calendar of events we are planning, and contact information for you to stay connected. And if you see something that sparks your interest, let us know as we always welcome your input and involvement.

This group provides a professional platform to get involved in shaping nursing’s professional footprint through education. If you are seeking opportunities to network, meet others who are passionate about our role as educators, become inspired or be inspired to promote nursing education and our professional development as educators, and share ideas within your nursing educator community, you have found the right site! We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hello to all my nurse educator friends,
I'm working with a couple colleagues to collect data on national pre-licensure testing practices among nurse educators. The survey will only take about 5 minutes to complete and your input is highly valued. This is an IRB approved study and the outcomes will be shared and published.

I would also appreciate it if you could share this with your colleagues. The survey will close the end of September.

Thank you for your time and willingness to share,
