AzNA supports the efforts already made by those working to manage this crisis, but there is much work still to be done. We are committed to doing all we can to bring the challenges Arizona nurses are facing to light and finding solutions to these issues.

AzNA is working with representatives from state, city, and hospital groups. We are sharing your needs with decision-makers at all levels so they can work toward solutions for healthcare providers in the field and out. This includes finding ways to provide nurses with necessary PPE and education on how and when to use PPE.

While these efforts are at work behind the scenes, we, as nurses, must do all we can to protect the most vulnerable in our community.

We applaud those who have already implemented crucial mitigation strategies and recognize that many of these interventions are being discussed by our government. Please look for continued updates on the efforts being made to address healthcare worker concerns as well as opportunities for nurses to support the critical needs of their communities.
