LOOK UP YOUR LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT
Find your Congressional and State voting districts at the AZ Independent Redistricting site. Enter your address and zip code +4 for the most accurate identification of your location and districts. You can also discover the numbers for: Townships, School Districts, Counties, and Tribal Areas.

 

FIND ELECTED OFFICIALS AND CANDIDATES IN YOUR ZIP CODE

For a simple civics lesson enter your zip code +4 and see a photo list of all your elected state and national officials from U.S. President to County Supervisors. As the election season progresses, Project Vote Smart also gives information on candidates for these offices including biographical information, campaign finances, issues positions, interest group ratings, voting records and public statements. Presidential hopefuls are already listed in 2015 as they announce their intentions.

 

VIEW AZ CANDIDATE DEBATES
Any Candidate who accepts money from the "AZ Clean Elections" commission agrees to participate in public debates. During election years, streaming video allows you to watch debates which have already occurred. [seasonal]

 

BECOME A POLL WORKER
Serve on election days as one of those folks you always see at the polls working to make sure you are registered, give you a ballot, and show you how the machines work. There are never enough volunteers for this hard job. You must work through your county registrar’s office (see link above). .

 

KIDS VOTE
This program, pioneered in Arizona, allows children to log on and vote. This is called, by some, "Democracy Training". Take a look.
