Connect to Someone to Talk

Free Counseling from Arizona Counselors
Arizona Counselors Association: This directory is being offered to Arizona nurses who are on the front line of fight against Covid-19. The services are being offered by the listed counselors at no charge to Arizona nurses caring for patients on the front lines of this virus, i.e. in-patient care nurses (ICU and other), long-term care nurses, home care nurses.

All counselors listed are current members of the Arizona Counselors Association.
Crisis Counselors Available - Call 211
Crisis Counselors Available - Call 2-1-1: In collaboration with AHCCCS and other community crisis providers, Crisis Preparation and Recovery, Inc. (CPR) has kicked off Resilient Arizona, a COVID-19 crisis response program. The initial program will continue through 7/31/20 and may be extended nine months based on Federal funding. This program is through a federally funded grant that helps communities recover from the effects of disasters or pandemics through short-term interventions that provide emotional support, crisis counseling, and connection to community support and resources. Dedicated CPR crisis counselors are available by phone and/or video from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Monday through Friday.

Nurses Together: Group Discussions
Nurses Together: The Nurses Together program brings together the nurse community through voice and video calls. Connect with your peers and talk openly about self-care and wellness, recovery and resilience, care triumphs and dilemmas, bereavement, and more. Sessions are held seven days a week.

 Moodfit: Self-care is critical for nurses—especially now, when work and life stresses are intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Moodfit app supports many aspects of your overall wellness, allowing you to set personal goals related to exercise, nutrition, sleep, mindfulness, track your progress, and set-up convenient activity reminders.
Narrative Expressive Writing
 Narrative Expressive Writing: Help process your experiences related to COVID-19 with this five-week guided narrative writing program. Participants are invited to respond anonymously to weekly prompts that are reviewed and responded to by trained professionals. Pilot program capacity is limited.
