The Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council/AzNA Chapter 9 welcomes Nurse Practitioners to Arizona! Join nearly 10,000 colleagues who enjoy the benefits of Full Practice Authority in our state. This means that Arizona law permits all NPs to evaluate patients; diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests; and initiate and manage treatments, including prescribing medications and controlled substances, under the exclusive licensure authority of the state board of nursing.
