Archives Committee

This committee records the ongoing history of the association, which includes reviewing, organizing, and storing minutes, newsletters, communications, and pictures. Meetings are monthly.

 

Convention/Symposium Planning Committee 

The Committee plans for the biennial convention (in the odd years) and symposium (in the even years), which are held in the fall. The committee meets for about 9 months prior to the event as needed.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee ensures the fiscal integrity of the association by standardizing financial operations and recommending budget and money management strategies to the Board of Directors. The committee meets quarterly.

 

Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy Committee reviews proposed legislation and other issues of concern in accordance with the AzNA Public Policy Agenda. The Committee makes policy recommendations to the Executive Policy Team. 

 

Political Action Committee

The Political Action Committee endorses and contributes to candidates for public office in Arizona who have clearly demonstrated support for the nursing community. The PAC communicates by email and conference call as needed.

 
 

Chapter Positions

For nurses who are interested in being involved on a more local level or related to a clinical specialty, chapter positions are available. Contact your chapter for more information.

 

Nursing Continuing Professional Development Review Committee 

A team of dedicated volunteers to review nursing continuing professional development activity applications to ensure adherence to the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) standards and criteria. Reviews are done individually and through consensus via a virtual format. This committee is supported with regularly scheduled meetings to discuss, confer and clarify criteria. Time commitment varies and can be determined by the volunteer as their availability shifts. More Information.
