Shannon Campbell is a Clinical Education Specialist for Banner Health and a Faculty Associate for the RN-BSN and Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University. Her nursing career spans more than 15 years, beginning after she earned her BSN from San Diego State University. She began her bedside career in Med/Surg/Telemetry after moving to Flagstaff, Arizona.

Over the past decade, Shannon has advanced nursing education in both clinical and baccalaureate settings. She holds dual master’s degrees in Nursing and Administration and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Innovation Leadership.

Her involvement with the Arizona Nurses Association (AzNA) began with convention planning and poster review committees. She later served as Vice President of the Nurse Educator Special Interest Group and Treasurer for Chapter 1 before being elected State Treasurer in 2022.

Her scholarship focuses on workforce development, transition-to-practice programs, and innovation in nursing education.
