ANA: Their courage must be recognized

Posted By Administration, Thursday, May 23, 2019

The bipartisan United States Cadet Nurse Corps Service Recognition Act has been reintroduced in Congress, and we need your help to make sure it passes!

Show Your Support

This heroic group of nurses served in World War II -- and they remain the ONLY uniformed corps members from that war who haven't received recognition as veterans.

Send your letter: tell your Members of Congress why it's so important that they support the United States Cadet Nurse Corps Service Recognition Act and honor the sacrifices these nurses made.

Multiple bills have been introduced since 1995 to give these nurses the credit they deserve – but none have passed. This new bill is our best chance to honor nurse cadets and the critical role they played - send your letter of support now and help undo decades of oversight!

Thanks in advance for helping to ensure that these nurses' service to their country isn't forgotten.

Sincerely,

Ernest Grant, PhD, RN, FAAN
President
American Nurses Association
