ANNOUNCING Buprenorphine Waiver Training & MAT Curricula - Free In-Person Training (Flagstaff)

Free Buprenorphine Waiver Training for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Arizona, like many other states in the country, is experiencing a shortage of medication-assisted treatment providers; your help is needed. Medication-assisted treatment involves the use of FDA-approved medications, like buprenorphine, in conjunction with psychosocial services, to treat opioid use disorders. Eligible prescribers (physicians, NPs, and PAs) must obtain a waiver from SAMHSA and the DEA to prescribe this life-saving medication. CABHP, through funding from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), is partnering with the Arizona Society of Addiction Medicine to provide FREE buprenorphine waiver workshops.
