Twice a year, Duet trains faith community nurses through our Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course. The American Nurses Association (ANA) defines Faith Community Nursing (FCN) as “the specialized practice of professional nursing that focuses on the intentional care of the spirit as part of the process of promoting wholeistic health and preventing or minimizing illness in a faith community.” The January 2021 Foundations Course takes place virtually over Zoom on Thursday, January 7; Friday, January 8; and Saturday. January 9, 2021 and Thursday, January 21; January 22; and Saturday, January 23, 2021. It takes place from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except for January 23, which will be a half day.
