My name is Jessica Rainbow, and I’m an assistant professor at the University of Arizona College of Nursing where I conduct research on improving work environments to improve nurse health and safety. I am recruiting participants for a nation-wide study of experiences of healthcare providers and/or workers in healthcare settings in the United States during the COVID-19 pandemic. In conducting this study, we hope to memorialize the experiences of healthcare providers & workers during COVID19 and improve readiness for future public health emergencies. We are capturing experiences via voice messages and emails.

To participate, please call 1(833)624-0707 or send an email to me (jrainbow@email.arizona.edu) with your responses to the below screening questions and a description of your experiences. If you leave a voicemail, an automated featured will provide information about the study and ask you to consent before advancing to 3 numeric-response screening questions: 1) what your profession or role in healthcare is, 2) what is your work setting, and 3) what is your 5-digit US work zip code. If you meet the study inclusion criteria, you will be asked to leave a message on an anonymous voicemail box in response to the prompt “Tell us about your experiences working during the COVID-19 pandemic?” You may leave recordings or send an email of any length that you choose, and you may participate in this study multiple times and share experiences that you have as many times as you would like.

This study is approved by the University of Arizona Health Sciences IRB

Thank you for considering participating and all you do, Jessica Rainbow, PhD, RN
