Educational Events and Research: Research Participants Needed: Nurses and Midwives Working During COVID-19

If you are a nurse (including nurse practitioners), faculty member, educator, administrator, or midwife who worked in any role and capacity between March 2020 and December 2023, you meet the inclusion criteria and are invited to participate in a study looking at long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nursing and midwifery workforce. You are still eligible to participate even if you have stopped working as a nurse or midwife now but worked during that period.

Many participants have reported that completing the survey questions was therapeutic and helped them to process their experiences. All responses are anonymized, and no traceable data is collected to meet European Union data privacy standards. We estimate it will take you between 10 to 20 minutes to complete the survey. We also ask questions in free-text format, so please write as much as you like. The details in these responses to date have yielded significant insights into pandemic response implementation.

You can participate in and contribute to the survey here.

If you have any questions about the study, please feel free to contact Allison Squires at aps6@nyu.edu.
