AzNA: VSNA Used Book Sale

The Volunteer Non-profit Service Association (VSNA), formerly the Visiting Nurse Service Auxiliary, is hosting its 65th Annual Used Book Sale. The sale will take place at the Arizona State Fairgrounds on February 12 & 13, 2022. Proceeds will benefit the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. Donations are also still being accepted. Educational Events and Research: Participants Needed for Research Study

Research Collective is partnering with a medical device company to gather feedback about a patient heart monitor. This device is intended to be used by healthcare professionals in a hospital or critical care environment. They are currently looking for nurses who work in the ICU to participate in 60-minute in-person sessions in Tempe, December 6-10, 2021.$250 will be issued at the conclusion of the session in appreciation of the participants expertise, time and feedback. Research Collective and the study sponsor are not promoting the use or sale of any product that you may be discussing nor will there be any patient contact.

If you are interested, please complete the qualification questionnaire, it should take less than 5 minutes to complete. A Research Collective team member will follow up with qualified individuals for additional questions and/or scheduling.

AzNA members Jessica Rainbow, Chloe Littzen and Claire Bethel recently authored an article featured on The Conversation titled, "Nurses don't want to be hailed as 'heroes' during a pandemic - they want more resources and support." The Conversation is a nonprofit, independent news organization that publishes informative articles written by academic experts.
