Educational Events and Research: CNS Provider Reimbursement Services

Effective October 1, 2021, Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) providers can enroll with AHCCCS and receive reimbursement for services. To start the enrollment process with AHCCCS, please click here. For more information on CNS scope of practice, please review the CNS prescribing and dispensing requirements outlined by the Board of Nursing.

This past weekend at Convention, we announced the results of the recent AzNA Election. Listed below is your newly elected AzNA Board of Directors: President - Heidi Sanborn, DNP, RN, CNE Secretary - Amanda Foster, BSN, RN Director of Governmental Affairs - Heather Ross, PhD, DNP, ANP-BC, RN, FAANP Director at Large - Sonia Basel Blau, BSN, RNC-OP, CDP Board members continuing their service include Treasurer, Beth Hale, PhD, RN and Director at Large, Bill Adams, MSN, RN, CDCES, NHDP-BC. Congratulations to all our newly elected and continuing board members. We are excited to work with you to advance the profession of nursing in Arizona.

 ANA’s Policy and GOVA team continually strives to better learn and capitalize on the unique skills of its members for advocacy and engagement purposes. To better help inform us in this area, we are seeking individuals in Arizona who might have strong political connections, social networks, deep policy or regulatory experience and/or advocacy skills in relation to an ANA initiative.
