Early into the COVID-19 crisis, AzNA formed an Arizona Nurses Rapid Response Team, with the goal of identifying issues impacting nurses statewide and actions to implement for the safety of those nurses and communities. Through this work, rapid response team members Heather M. Ross, Stephanie Desiderio, Tomi St. Mars and Paulette Rangel published a commentary titled, "US Immigration Policies Pose Threat to Health Security During COVID-19 Pandemic" in the journal, Health Security. To read their publication, click here.

Our highly engaged, volunteer Board of Trustees is hard at work creating and establishing meaningful relationships with individuals and organizations that support AzFFN's mission and focus areas. In partnership with the Cactus Pine Girl Scouts we delivered over 10,000 cases (120,000) boxes of girl scout cookies! In partnership with Better Place Forests, our fallen heroes will have a memorial garden in Flagstaff Arizona!
