Who else is struggling with self-care?

Just about all caregivers, that's who!Nurses are not alone—all healthcare practitioners struggle with putting our own health first, and so do millions of unpaid Americans taking care of a loved one. We can work on it together!

As nurses, we are in a key position to recognize and support patient caregivers and loved ones with the emotional, physical, and financial costs involved.

Our 10 day October challenge, Embracing Caregivers, powered by EMD Serrano, aims to help nurses find the tools to support caregiver selfcare, encouraging you to identify a family caregiver and provide them with timely resources and guidance.

Starts October 14. Sign up here or on your phone, text healthynurse to 52886.

Let us know how you overcome obstacles when interacting with family caregivers here.

Also, see this update from NAM's Action Collaborative on Clinician Well-Being and Resilience.
