Invasive meningococcal disease (IMD), though rare, is devastating. The CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is considering changes to the adolescent meningococcal vaccination schedule, which could affect immunization policies. STAT Brand Studio explores these potential revisions with Richard H. Hughes IV, Will Humble, and Leslie Maier, discussing the importance of school vaccination requirements and the potential impacts of these changes on public health and equity in a STAT Brand Studio virtual panel.

AzNA: AzNA Awarded Funds to Advance Antiracism in Nursing

he American Nurses Association (ANA) awarded and distributed $100,000 to 12 of the organization’s Constituent/State Nurses Associations (C/SNAs) committed to advancing antiracism in nursing in their respective states. These entities are tasked with implementing evidence-based strategies designed to combat systemic, organizational, or individual racism in nursing. AzNA is one of these states.
