AzNA is proud to have so many Certified Nurses in our membership. Nursing, like health care in general has become increasingly complex. We recognize that board certification of nurses plays an increasingly important role in the assurance of high standards of care for patients and their loved ones. AzNA joins the nation’s national nursing certification organizations in honoring our hardworking, dedicated nurses for their professionalism, and a job well done!

The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is seeking Licensed Health Professionals to serve as Medical Team Volunteers for our National Summer Camp Program, and we’d appreciate your support in connecting us with individuals willing to share this unique opportunity with their health communities.
The MDA Summer Camp Program is a week-long, residential camp program available to youth ages 8-17 living with neuromuscular disease, held at recreation facilities across the nation. It is a completely inclusive environment where campers can freely express who they are and fully participate in both traditional and theme-based summer camp activities designed to be adaptive for all abilities.
Medical Team Volunteers play a vital role in the execution of MDA Summer Camp, primarily supporting participants’ physical, emotional, and social needs, while also engaging in the traditional summer camp experience alongside the campers. They have reported that the experience further develops their talents and skills to reach professional goals and deepens their practice.
Interested Health Professionals must hold an active license in the state where the session is held and complete an application process. Prior experience in pediatric neuromuscular diseases and/ or pediatrics, and/ or knowledge of neuromuscular diseases and the various needs of the neuromuscular community not required. Check out mda.org/summer-camp/volunteer for session locations, dates and links to apply!

As each new generation enters the nursing profession, they bring different needs, priorities, and values. As Millennial nurses move into leadership roles and Gen Z nurses enter the profession, ANA is committed to listening and understanding the feedback from younger nurses so we can better support and help them succeed in their nursing career.
Please help us understand you and your generation by completing this anonymous survey. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete, and your input will help ANA evolve and grow to better serve you and your generation of nursing professionals. This survey is open to both members and non-members of ANA and your state nurses association, and we are very interested in hearing from younger, non-members nurses.
TAKE THE SURVEY
