In 2022, as the COVID-19 pandemic gradually retreated, nurses were left grappling with seemingly endless workplace and environmental challenges. To support our commitment to the profession, the ANA Enterprise leveraged our collective strength to advocate on behalf of all nurses and critically invest in the mental health and well-being of nursing professionals.
Key highlights:
- We advocated forcefully along with our constituent and state nurses associations to propose solutions to the troubling nurse staffing crisis and achieve key public policy changes.
- We enhanced our commitment to nurses’ well-being through a groundbreaking $3.1 million grant project focused on preventing nurse stress and burnout.
- We convened nurses at dynamic events to celebrate their achievements and help them acquire knowledge and tools to bolster their pursuit of excellence.
To learn more about our strategic initiatives and accomplishments over the past 12 months, read our 2022 Annual Impact Report.
