VOTE: It’s Time

Arizona is voting. Early voting by mail and in-person voting centers are open for registered voters to submit their ballots. Over the past year we have shared information regarding the link between environmental health and human health.  How do the candidates running for elected office address the links and concerns like air quality, accessible water, and extreme heat? The AzNA Climate Change & Health Workgroup created three documents for nurses to use; each will assist in gathering information about candidate priorities to help determine your best choice for office.  Two down-ballot boards are uniquely linked to the environment: the Arizona Corporation Commission and the Central Arizona Water Conservation District Board. A Voting Tool for each has been developed for your use.  Look at each and use them to assist you in completing your ballot.
