The Arizona Clean Air Annual Poll
On December 17th, the American Lung Association in Arizona released updated polls showing that Arizona voters continue to view air pollution and climate change as serious problems and support clean energy and transportation solutions for the fifth consecutive year. More than 7 in 10 voters agree a transition to clean energy will positively impact air quality (78%) and the economy and jobs in Arizona (71%). Read more:
The OSHA Heat Standard
In December, we asked Arizona nurses to sign in support of the OSHA heat standard draft rule that would create national standards to protect workers from extreme heat for the first time in history. Your state nursing organization, AzNA, joined 86 other organizations in signing a letter encouraging the implementation of this critical rule for the health of Americans.
