Weekly Update - February 3, 2025

New Resource for Arizona: The Water Agenda

We are sharing a new publication that started this month, the Water Agenda.  Like the Arizona Agenda and the Tucson Agenda, this publication is an online resource available on Substack at no cost, though you can subscribe and support their work. Most of us have heard about the lengthy drought most of Arizona is facing, and what that means for water availability can be confusing and concerning. This new weekly publication aims to unpack water policy and provide facts about Arizona's water system, covering the plans and solutions available to conserve and use water wisely.  This first issue jumps right into the deep end with an overview of groundwater. We’ll track this resource and the water discussion at the capitol, sharing updates along the way. If you are interested in helping us track and educate nurses on this critical issue, let us know at azcchworkgroup@gmail.com.
