Every year, AzNA holds a day at the Arizona Capitol for nurses to visit with their senators and representatives. The nurse attendees use this time to educate their legislators on issues relating to the nursing profession, public health, and the concerns of nurses across the profession. AzNA also provides these attendees with training during RN Advocacy Day as well as talking points and mentors for their meetings with the legislators.
