The Northern Arizona chapter's mission is to advance, promote and protect the values, contributions and development of Northern Arizona’s nurses through support of nursing scholarships and community activities that showcase the nurse’s role in health promotion and disease prevention.

Ways to Get Involved
Serve on a board: The Board of Directors reports and is accountable to the AzNA membership. The board responsibilities are listed in detail within the bylaws and include governing the association, establishing policies and procedures, ensuring adequate resources, selecting and evaluating the executive director, determining and monitoring programs and services, and ensuring the fiscal security of the association. Board meetings are approximately every six weeks. Members of the Board sit on other committees and have other non-committee responsibilities.
