Nursing Situation Monitoring and Response Team (SMART)
(formerly) Arizona Nurses Rapid Response Team
Early into the COVID-19 crisis the Arizona Nurses Association (AzNA) formed an AZ Nurses Rapid Response Team. Consisting of 36 nurses representing various sectors of nursing, the goal is to identify issues and problems impacting nurses all over the state
during this pandemic, and identify actions to implement for the safety of our nurses and our communities. The group meets weekly.
