Explore the emerging new skills of appreciative leadership with leadership experts and authors Kathy Malloch and Tim Porter-O’Grady. This session will build on their work on complexity leadership contained in the books, “Evidence and Innovation” and “Quantum Leadership”. Appreciative leadership is one of the seminal applied leadership skills that best represents the newer leadership capacities becoming more necessary in complex health networks. This session will provide the foundations of complexity leadership and drill-down on the elements and behaviors associated with the positive use of appreciative leader skills. The facilitators will use dialogue, exemplars, practices, and humor to support participants comprehension and use of these new leadership skills.
