Sept 12-14 and October 11-12 | Phoenix
Twice a year, Duet trains faith community nurses through the Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course. The American Nurses Association (ANA) defines Faith Community Nursing (FCN) as “the specialized practice of professional nursing that focuses on the intentional care of the spirit as part of the process of promoting wholeistic health and preventing or minimizing illness in a faith community.” Duet’s Director of Congregational Health, April M. Polley, RN, BSN, MBA, is certified to teach this course and we are pleased to offer this standardized curriculum. This course is based on the curriculum developed through the Westberg Institute for Faith Community Nursing, a ministry of Church Health Center. The Fall 2019 Foundations Course takes place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, September 12 – 14 and Friday, Saturday, October 11, 12, 2019 from 7:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily. It takes place at Duet, 10000 North 31st Avenue, Suite D200, Phoenix, AZ 85051. More Information
