The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have recommended Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine for administration to children aged 5-11 years.  This move opens the door for millions of children to begin receiving a recommended dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
