On April 18th, Samantha Roecker, BSN-RN, MSC a nurse at nurse at Penn Medicine and a full-time FNP student at the UPenn School of Nursing, will be entered into the record books during this year’s Boston Marathon! She will attempt to break the established Guinness World Record of “fastest marathon run in a nurses’ uniform” at the 2022 Boston Marathon.

Being a passionate advocate for nurses’ physical and mental health, having experienced anxiety, witnessing firsthand the mental burnout and exhaustion from her nurse colleagues Samantha has decided to partner with the American Nurses Foundation.
