The Arizona Department of Child Safety (ADCS) has published a solicitation to contract for a SENSE Nurse Consultant; BPM006292.

The Substance Exposed Newborn Safe Environment (SENSE) program provides services for families referred by ADCS after the birth of a substance exposed infant. The program develops and implements a coordinated Family Service Plan that includes involvement of the family, Family Connections Consultants, Arizona Families F.I.R.S.T. staff, home visitor staff, and ADCS Specialists. A nurse also visits the home to perform nursing assessments, evaluations concerning the development and overall health of the infant and parent and any needed referrals for services. This program aims to keep the infant safe at home while parent(s) work with service providers to learn new skills and maintain sobriety. The purpose of the SENSE Nurse Consultant service is to be the lead support for the SENSE Nurses. For more information about the SENSE program, please visit https://dcs.az.gov/service-array/materials.
