AzNA: What is Our Current PPE Status in Arizona? We need your input.

Posted By Administration, Friday, May 22, 2020
Updated: Tuesday, May 19, 2020

In March, the American Nurses Association (ANA) heard from 32,000 nurses surveyed that PPE was in extremely short supply. A lot has happened since then. ANA continues to advocate for access and safe use of PPE. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, ANA wants to understand nurses' access to and use of PPE right now. It is critical that they hear from you on the PPE situation you are experiencing.

Please take a few minutes to complete this PPE survey. Answer the questions describing the situation you faced in the last two weeks.  Take the survey here.  State level data from AZ will be shared and disseminated.

Educational Events & Research: Participation Needed for COVID-19 Pandemic Study Survey

Posted By Administration, Friday, May 8, 2020
Updated: Tuesday, May 5, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced healthcare providers to practice in challenging environments. Registered nurses are at the forefront ensuring patients get the best care possible. You are invited to complete a survey to measure how nurses are impacted by the demands and challenges. The study has had a limited exempt review by the Edinboro University Institutional Review Board. No matter whether you choose to participate in the study or not, remember that Florence Nightingale wrote that the nursing that she envisioned would not be seen for at least 150 years. That is now, and you are making the difference.

He’s training for a nine-day trek beginning May 22 at Sloan Park (Mesa’s home of the Cubs). His route hits all nine MLB Cactus League stadiums, including Chase Field (home to AZ Diamondbacks), ending full circle on May 30 when he crosses home plate -- the designated finish line totaling 125 miles. You can follow Dave Mayer’s walks on twitter @WalkForPtSafety
