The Casa Alitas/Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona is in need of healthcare volunteers in the Tucson area. The Casa Alitas program provides services to families cleared by Immigration authorites but who are in need of fold, clearn clothes, showers and assistance in completing arrangements to travel to their U.S. sponsors. Our all-volunteer groups has been doing basic medical screening, ensuring that all families are healthy and ready to travel to the final leg of their journal, as well as treating minor illness. The health volunteer network is stretched thin. Please consider working with us few hours, a day, a few days. The work is basic but very rewarding. Please contact any of the following representatives for more information or to volunteer:
Pat Kelly (913-522-7364), Anna Landau (520-404-2666), Rich Wahl (520-235-0478), Josh Freeman (913-522-4716
