Life Kit

We have the skills to step in during a health emergency, we know CPR and first aid. More and more, the emergencies we face are linked to our environment and require different tools. Recently we saw a list of ‘life kits’ that were very informative, we are sharing these and hope you pass them on as well.

• Building a GO BAG for natural disasters: Natural disasters can happen anywhere with little to no notice. FEMA and the Red Cross say everybody should have an emergency go bag prepared.
• Earthquake preparedness: Earthquake’s strike at a moment’s notice. Experts provide steps to help prepare your family.
• Stay safe and cool in extreme heat: Arizonans know more than others that heat exposure is dangerous, preparing for extreme heat is key in our warming climate. Arizona has a new Extreme Heat Plan to use too.
• Wildfire preparedness: in the southwest wildfire season is now yearlong, and steps to prepare if one is approaching are critical for your safety.
