Proposed Heat Safety Requirement for City of Phoenix Contractors |
The City of Phoenix is taking the next step to help prevent heat-related illness and injury on the job. At its July 2, 2025 meeting, the Phoenix City Council is expected to vote on a proposed revision to Section 18-413(A) of the Phoenix City Code.
If approved, the amendment would update Ordinance G-7241 and require City of Phoenix contractors to post written heat safety plans on bulletin boards in break rooms accessible to employees.
