The Rio Colorado-Yuma Chapter 7 promotes standards of nursing practice, education, and the health of the community. They provide for continuing professional development of registered nurses in the Rio Colorado-Yuma region and an annual meeting that includes all nursing affiliates in the area.

Arizona Foundation for the Future of Nursing: Providing grants and scholarships for advances in research, education, workforce, and leadership.

ANA Mentorship Program:  One-to-one mentoring relationships connect mentees with nurses who have more professional experience.

Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation: Engage and inspire with other nurses to take action within health and wellness initiatives focused on activity, sleep, nutrition, quality of life and safety.

Well-Being Initiative:  Resources to support your mental well-being.

Ways to Get Involved
Serve on a board: The Board of Directors reports and is accountable to the AzNA membership. The board responsibilities are listed in detail within the bylaws and include governing the association, establishing policies and procedures, ensuring adequate resources, selecting and evaluating the executive director, determining and monitoring programs and services, and ensuring the fiscal security of the association. Board meetings are approximately every six weeks. Members of the Board sit on other committees and have other non-committee responsibilities.
