[Tempe, Arizona] – [March 2021] – The Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC) has donated 120,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to the Arizona Foundation for the Future of Nursing (AzFFN), the philanthropic arm of the Arizona Nurses Association (AzNA).
“Members of AzNA are hard at work volunteering to distribute information on how to sign up for our well-being initiative RNconnect and GSACPC cookies to local hospitals,” says Dawna Cato, AzNA CEO and AzFFN Executive Director, “Volunteers have worked to coordinate with CNOs and hospital leadership to get RNconnect resources and Girl Scout Cookies to frontline nurses.”
Some of the hospitals that will receive cookies include HonorHealth, Valleywise, Abrazo and Dignity Health.
Cato shares, “AzFFN is incredibly thankful for the support of partners like GSACPC in this show of gratitude for the efforts of Arizona nurses during this difficult time.”
