Chapter 1 exists to create avenues for nurses from all backgrounds to connect in a supportive and collaborative environment. Whether you are a nursing student, recent graduate, or experienced RN, we want to enhance your experience
of professional growth. As the largest local Chapter, we can make a significant impact on the future of nursing in Arizona.
The active engagement of our members is crucial to the strength of the Chapter. Your choice to become a member of AzNA and Chapter 1 demonstrates a desire to make a difference- to BE the difference for the profession.

It is time to recruit new board members to the Chapter 1, Greater Phoenix Area Chapter, Arizona Nurses Association!!! . Please take a moment to review the available positions below. All positions carry a two-year term commitment: 2020 - 2022.
If you are interested or know someone that may be interested in filling a position, please contact Dawna Cato at dcato3@hotmail.com for a Bio/Consent to Serve by March 31st, 2020.

Our AzNA – GPAC Scholarship & Professional Development Awards for Summer 2019 is here!
AWARD CATEGORIES*
1. Post-Licensure degree in Nursing scholarship: (currently in school for RN-BSN,
MSN, PhD, DNP) - $ 500.00 x 2 awards
2. Funds for loan repayment assistance for degrees completed in Nursing - $ 500 x 1
3. Professional development: (Unreimbursable conference, certification review course or
certification test, or continuing education in Nursing - during 2019) - $ 250.00 x 6
