President
Sandy Severson, MBA, MHA, BSN, RN, CPHQ, CPPS, CENP, FACHE
Sandy Severson, serves as the Vice President, Care Improvement for the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association. In this role, she is responsible for contributing to the organization’s vision – “Making Arizona the healthiest state in
the Nation” by leading improvement collaboratives to improve care, outcomes, and decrease costs to all Arizonians. She currently leads/co-leads a number of collaboratives to reduce preventable harm, reduce healthcare associated conditions,
transformational leadership and an end of life care leadership team. Sandy has been a nurse for more than 35 years and in previous roles has served in numerous healthcare nursing and operational leadership roles at health systems across
the continuum of care, such as Banner Health, Providence Health System and Hawaii Pacific Health. Sandy obtained her BSN through Chamberlain College of Nursing, and her MBA/MHA from the University of Colorado, is a Fellow in the American
College of Healthcare Executives as well as holding multiple certifications.

Vice President
Tina M Menghe DNP, RN, CNOR, CNE, CSA
Currently serving as an Interim Nurse Executive/Consultant for the periOperative Services, Tina M Menghe began practicing as a registered nurse in 2008 and current holds 10 nurses licenses.
Passionate about equipping the next generation of front-line periOperative nurses and leaders with the training and mentorship they need. Tina has been a member of ANA/AzNA chapter 1 since May 2016, holds other membership with Sigma
Theta Tau, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and Association of periOperative Nurse (AORN). In 2016, AORN/CCI honored Tina with the Dissertation Grant to advancement of nursing practice through strength of character,
commitment, and competence while reducing surgical site infections (SSIs) through evidence-based practice recommendations. Tina presented her dissertation in a poster form at the 2019 AORN conference in Nashville, TN. Tina holds a
BSN degree from Mount Mary University, MSN, DNP and post-Master Education degrees from Grand Canyon University and currently enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at West Coast University.

Secretary
Marlene Steinheiser, MSN, RN, CRNI
I am currently employed as the Director of Nursing Education for the Infusion Nurses Society, a national nonprofit organization representing infusion nurses and all other clinicians who practice infusion therapy. The main objective of my role is to provide continuing education for clinicians practicing infusion therapy. In
this position, I work directly with association members and the Board of Directors. I have also served on other association boards and committees, including the Arizona Health Care Association and the Arizona Board
of Nursing Scope of Practice Committee. I completed the requirements for my PhD in nursing in May 2018 and my degree from the University of Arizona will confer in August of 2018.
In my 32 years of nursing experience, I have been employed in various positions and healthcare
settings (acute care, long-term care, home care, home infusion, industry and regulatory) as a staff nurse, nurse manager, nurse educator, nurse practice consultant and clinical support specialist.I
am committed to the profession of nursing and promotion of advocacy, practice and public policy.

LeAnne Prenovost, DNP, MSN-Ed, MBA, RN, CNE
Dr. Prenovost has held nursing positions as a clinical nurse, nurse preceptor, nurse administrator, and for the last eleven years, nurse educator. She has a passion for women’s health issues, health care policy, advancement of
professional nursing practice, and the transition to practice of new nurses. Dr. Prenovost was recently awarded the 2017 Arizona March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Award for the category of Women's Health.

Leslie Knapp, BSN, RN, RN-BC
Leslie graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Coconino Community College in 2012. She then continued her education at Grand Canyon University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. Leslie began her nursing career with almost two years of nursing experience on a progressive care unit working with telemetry patients. The next year and a half she spent working on an oncology med/surge unit. Most recently she has had the privilege to work in an ambulatory setting with patients in a variety of specialties. . Leslie’s long term goal is to earn a Master of Science in Nursing and work in a position of nurse leadership and administration.
