Call for Nominations
 We are looking for enthusiastic nurses to join our Central Arizona Chapter Board starting January 1, 2024 for a 2 year term. This is a great way to get involved in your professional organization and to learn about all the things AzNA does for nurses in Arizona. Please submit a Biographical Sketch/Consent to Serve form for a board member position by October 15, 2023 to info@aznurse.org. 
 
President shall:
 - Preside over chapter meetings by setting the agenda, date, time and location for Board Meetings
 - Plan activities and events that support the purpose and functions of AzNA in conjunction with the members of the board and maintain a Calendar of Events
 - Send out Quarterly Update emails including local and state accomplishments and upcoming events
 - Attend the quarterly Chapter Board's Forum calls to learn about updates from the AzNA President
 - The outgoing President may act as ex-oficio with no voting rights to assist with the transfer of responsibilities
 
Secretary shall:
- Keep records during the Board Meetings and Member Meetings and submit the minutes to the board for review
 - Notifies members of membership meetings and events through the AzNA office by sending out emails and placing it on the AzNA Event Page
 - Is liaison to the Nominations Committee and places a call for volunteers. Assists the committee with annual elections
 - Prepares the annual chapter report to be printed at the AzNA Convention program and shared at the membership meeting held annually at convention
 
Director-At-Large (2 positions) shall:
- Oversee special focus areas as assigned such as managing membership and sending welcome, congratulations and recognition emails to members, managing scholarships and providing communication regarding scholarships or acting as a liaison between the Chapter 1 Board and SNAAZ
